Arsenal’s transfer window has gone up a notch. With the signing of Petr Cech imminent, the Gunners look set to make more signings and some players are set to leave. Here’s five deals that could be completed in the next week.Â
1. Petr Cech
The Czech international has joined Arsenal, subject to a medical and so the deal should go through any minute now. BBC have confirmed the goalkeeper underwent his medical at London Colney on Friday.
Fresh Arsenal reported earlier this week that all that was required was formalities, after the clubs agreed a fee and contract with the player. The fee is thought to be £10.9million and Cech will earn £100,000 per week at the Emirates. This wage will make him one of the highest earning goalkeepers in the world – and comfortably Arsenal’s highest ever.
