This weeks top 3 players of the week article has been written with both the Besiktas game earlier on in the week and of course the game yesterday at Goodison park. Both games were draws but were very different games, Arsenal have now got 4 points from a possible 6 which isn’t too bad seeing that Everton is now considered a big ground to go to. However, Arsenal are now faced with a nervy Wednesday night game in which they will have to win to qualifier for the Champions league group stages.
3. Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain
We were really struggling on Tuesday night and lacked real pace and energy to run at the heart of Besiktas, but towards the tail end of the second half, Arsene Wenger brought on the Ox and he completely changed the attacking mentality of the gunners, by running at the Turkish defence and nearly scoring the important away goal and winner but for a great save by the Besiktas keeper onto the post. His bright performance when he came on earned him a start against Everton and he was causing some problems and was really the only player looking to shoot at the Everton goal.
