2. Guillermo Ochoa (Free Agent)
Before the World Cup little was known of the Mexican keeper Guillermo Ochoa. However, his performances at the competition have raised his profile massively, and you’d expect many of Europe’s big clubs will be looking into acquiring his services. The former AC Ajacco man stood out in a relatively average Mexican side and made crucial saves which led his to qualification from the group. On average he made 2.25 saves per game, keeping two clean sheets in the process. His claim success was also 100%, which should quash any doubts that his lack of physicality would mean he’d struggle in the Premiership. Overall this would be a great signing for Arsenal in my eyes, whether Ochoa would want to come as a second choice is another question, but being on a free you’d be surprised if Wenger wasn’t showing some sort of interest in the shot-stopper.
