2 – Alex Iwobi
The selection of Iwobi in the line up may have seemed odd, but the Nigerian is actually playing better than the likes of £100,000 per-week plus Theo Walcott right now. The English striker will struggle to win his place back after this performance. It was a remarkable performance from someone so young. When defending, Iwobi dropped into a midfield three with Elneny and Flamini/Coquelin and in attack he was a threat on the wing. He was mature and did not look startled under the lights at the Camp Nou. Walcott’s terrible cameo performance only made Iwobi’s night look even better. If there is one big positive to take from this season, it might just be the emergence of Alex Iwobi.
