3 – Antoine Griezmann
Real Sociedad’s prized Frenchman is the final player on my list.
Quick, unpredictable, and skilful on the ball – the 23-year-old has been one of the main factors in Sociedad’s recent success. Griezmann ended his 2013/14 campaign with 16 goals and three assists in 35 La Liga appearances – an impressive return for a winger. He would slot into our first team without too many problems thanks to his preference for short passing and playing attractive football.
Although he isn’t the best option on this list in terms of ability, his price tag is much more inviting. A fee in the region of £20 million is rumoured to be Real Sociedad’s asking price, however, Arsenal’s handling of Vela’s buyout clause has surely cemented the Gunners as allies in the eyes of the Spaniards – so we might be able to land him for a reduced price.
