Revealed: Arsenal To Sell These SIX Players

Arsenal will hold a clear-out of deadwood in the squad this summer, as The Sun reports the Gunners are looking to offload six players in their first-team squad.

The mentioned players include two closing in on an imminent departure, with Lukas €4m transfer to Galatasaray looking likely to go through and Carl Jenkinson set to rejoin West Ham United on-loan for another season, the only player said to be leaving temporarily.

Reports state that the Gunners are also keen to offload two young forwards in the form of Yaya Sanogo and Joel Campbell, with the latter unable to impress following last summer’s World Cup display and noes being chased by Real Sociedad.

As expected, Petr Cech’s arrival from Chelsea has pushed David Ospina towards the exit door as Arsenal do not need four first-team goalkeepers in the squad, with Damien Martinez playing understudy to second-choice Wojciech Szczesny- with the Poland international valued for the future.

Finally, Mathieu Flamini is tipped for an exit should Arsenal agree a new deal with captain Mikel Arteta and the Frenchman could also leave if Arsene Wenger was to bring in a new midfielder.

However, it’s stated Wenger is now focusing on getting rid of the above players and assessing his options, before he decides on his next big target- with William Carvalho and Karim Benzema the most regular names mentioned.
