Arsenal appear to be closing in on the signing of Chelsea defender Ola Aina. The versatile 19-year-old would be the clubs second signing of the transfer window following the arrival of Mohamed Elneny.
Aina is predominantly a right back, but he can play anywhere across the defence and has played plenty of times in central defence.
The English defender is highly rated, with the likes of Napoli interested in his services. Chelsea will not want to lose him, but the player is refusing to sign a new deal having not been included in the first team setup as of yet. The Mirror are reporting that Arsenal will involve him in the first team if he were to join.

You would certainly expect that if this deal were to go through, Arsenal would be waving goodbye to Mathieu Debuchy. The French defender has grown frustrated on the bench, but hasn’t done much to prove himself as a worthy first team player this season. Aston Villa are one of several clubs interested in signing the defender, with a loan deal possibly on the cards.
With Debuchy on the way out, Aina could prove to be a shrewd addition to the squad. His potential seems to be very high and I am confident that Arsene Wenger would help realise that potential at The Emirates.
Also, it would p*ss off Chelsea. All good.
