Arsenal took on Olympiacos for the second year running in the Europa League knockout stages, with bad memories of last season.
The Gunners started this one strong though, in what was the away leg for the club. Martin Odegaard’s long-range effort found its way past the Olympiacos keeper giving the London side a 1-0 lead at halftime.
Then the second half had a story of its own. Soon after coming on as a sub, Leno played Ceballos into trouble, he was dispossessed leaving Olympiacos to equalise. But the Gunners reacted very well with Gabriel heading home excellently from a Willian cross.
Substitute Mohammed Elneny then scored a screamer to put Arsenal well in control of the tie.

Man of the match: Gabriel Magalhaes. The Brazilian is in a race with Pablo Mari to start on that left side of the defence, but both have been brilliant lately. Gabriel scored the crucial goal and won a lot defensively tonight.
Flop of the match: Bernd Leno. Bernd was partly to blame for the Burnley goal at the weekend and he again put Ceballos under way too much pressure for the Olympiacos goal, has to learn.
