Arsenal exploded back into the Champions League after a seven-season wait on Wednesday night.
The Gunners started quickly, with Bukayo Saka converting Martin Odegaard’s parried shot. Leandro Trossard soon doubled the lead before the Belgian turned provider to setup Gabriel Jesus.
The second half saw Arsenal take total control of the ball with 66% of the ball. A fourth goal came when Martin Odegaard swept home his signature finish.
A perfect night was made even better when results from elsewhere came in, RC Lens managing a draw away in Sevilla.

Men of the match: Hard to single a player out today as all were very good, but I’ll go with Martin Odegaard. He was sensational and is one of the best midfielders in Europe. Conducted the game superbly and scored another beauty.Â
