There’s no doubt about it, Arsenal are building a team to compete for Champions League football and Oleksandr Zinchenko is just another piece of that puzzle.
Arsenal have now officially announced the signing of the 25-year-old, who joins the club on a four-year deal after a £30m transfer from Manchester City.
The move has taken just over a week to wrap up after it was first revealed by David Ornstein on 14th July that Mikel Arteta was doing everything to sign his former colleague.
Having both worked together at City, it’s a reunion that all Arsenal fans are celebrating with the arrival of Zinchenko indicating the pure desire of the club to get back into Champions League football.
Zinchenko sealed the deal whilst joining up with the Arsenal squad who are currently on a pre-season tour of the US, with one game against Chelsea still to come.
