Arsenal have been closing in on a deal to sign David Raya for some time now, but today they have finally announced the signing.
The deal will initially be a loan, but Arsenal fully intend on paying the £27million option to buy, which could be triggered automatically if certain conditions are met.

Arsenal viewed this as a great market opportunity after selling Matt Turner to Forest for £10million Arsenal could effectively swap Turner for Raya for around £20million. Raya is a homegrown player too, allowing the Gunners an extra spot for a non-HG outfielder.
