Arsene Wenger is expected to name a similar side to the one that saw off Cologne 3-1 last Thursday, with several youngsters ready to step in and make their mark.

Injuries to Danny Welbeck, Mesut Ozil and Francis Coquelin have opened up the chance for plenty of fringe players to feature as the squad rotates once again ahead of the weekend.

Despite it being the only domestic trophy missing from Wenger’s cabinet, winning the League Cup isn’t a priority for Wenger and he’ll want to stick with a familiar team if we’re able to progress to the fourth round.
