Striker: Olivier Giroud
No longer sitting comfortably as Arsenal’s first-choice striker, Giroud will want to show the likes of Wenger and Lacazette that he’s still got what it takes to start games.
By having pace and movement with Walcott and Iwobi, the height of Giroud gives us another option when going forward, especially with Monreal swinging crosses in.
Giroud is still capable of playing in this role and I’d expect our game play to look little different to what it did against Bournemouth, allowing us to control the tempo a little better.
With Alexis, Welbeck, Lacazette and possibly Akpom sitting on the bench it means we have plenty of options in attack so Wenger can play around with a side until he finds the answer.
