Central Midfield: Jack Wilshere and Mohamed Elneny
Whether you’re in the Jack Wilshere Fan Club or not, this has got to be a welcome sight for the majority of Arsenal supporters if Wenger tips the midfielder for a return.
After his loan spell at Bournemouth was cut short earlier this year by a serious injury sustained against Spurs, Wilshere has finally picked up full fitness.
It’s been another frustrating summer for the England international, who will want to regain a place in Arsenal’s starting XI ahead of Gareth Southgate picking his World Cup squad.
As for Elneny, he’s the exactly the rotation player we need in the squad that can come in and do a similar job to that of Xhaka, thus allowing Wilshere to roam free.
With Coquelin and Cazorla out injured, it doesn’t leave Wenger with a huge amount of options in the central role, but does allow Ramsey and Xhaka to have a well-deserved rest.
