Wing-Backs: Reiss Nelson and Nacho Monreal
Again, this is something new to the team but a pairing that gives us experience on one side and excitement on the other, with Nelson’s pace a clear outlet for attack.
Sead Kolasinac played the entire 90 minutes on Saturday and I’d like him to feature against Chelsea, which gives Monreal a free chance to slot in on the wing and be rested at the weekend.
If things aren’t going extremely well then that also gives us the chance to change to a four-at-the-back defence as Chambers is good enough to play as a right-back now.
Nelson lacks some of the more defensive qualities of his game but against a side like this he’ll more than likely be playing 80% of the game in the final third.
If Wenger can mould Nelson into this wing-back role then it provides perfect cover for the loss of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, who recently joined Liverpool for a staggering £40m.
