Arsenal are willing to break the bank to sign Real Madrid’s coveted superstar Isco, according to reports from Spain and England.
The Gunners are reportedly set to make an offer in the region of €80m, in order to tempt the European champions in selling one of their prize assets. If successful, it would be the most expensive transfer in Arsenal’s history beating the transfer record of Mesut Ozil who also departed from Real Madrid.
According to the Daily Star, Isco has found himself out of the spotlight again, with the return of Gareth Bale even though he played in the defeat to Valencia on the weekend.
Reports have claimed that the 22-year old, feels restricted with his bit part roles within the team, and feels particularly frustrated in playing back up to, Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale.
However, the former Valencia and Malaga player is having a brilliant season with Los Blancos, and it would seem highly unlikely that at this moment Real Madrid would be willing to sell their Spanish playmaker.
But after seeing Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez arrive from the two biggest clubs in the world, who can dare say Arsenal fans cannot dream about another star signing.
