3) Francis Coquelin
Coquelin is another player who looked set to leave the club in January, but due to the clubs inability to purchase a world class defensive midfielder, we have had to keep hold of Francis.
I think Coquelin is a useful player, but that’s it. He can fill in at left and right back as well as in midfield, but he isn’t world class. Arsenal need to sell him (along with Arteta and Flamini) and bring in a couple of top quality, strong defensive midfielders. I wish Coquelin managed to develop at the rate which I expected him too, but he hasn’t quite flourished into that player yet. He turns 24 at the end of the season, and that means his time at Arsenal is surely up.
