Arsenal left it late to take all three points against Burnley on Sunday, and there were a few impressive performances.
The Gunners relied on Alexis Sanchez to paneka the winner home, but it was his compatriot Mesut Ozil who deserves big praise for his man of the match performance.
Ozil was silky and brilliant in possession throughout, he also notched up an assist for his compatriot Mustafi to give Arsenal the lead. Ozil managed a phenomenal 92% pass accuracy, with 59 passes completed in total. He made 59 passes overall and had 79 touches overall. Offensively he completed 3 key passes, 1 dribble and landed 1 of his 3 shots on target.
It was also Ozil’s defensive efforts that impressed the fans on the day, with an uncharacteristic 2 clearances made by the German.

I think Ozil had a brilliant game. Ramsey was Ramsey. Iwobi shouldn't start every single game and John Moss was good but he's still fat

Have to mention Ozil too today, he was brilliant all round.

It’s great to see Ozil back at his fluent best. He was majestic against Swansea last week and impressive again today. Arsenal will need him in this kind of form when they play the likes of Chelsea, Liverpool and Bayern Munich in the coming weeks. Ozil has been given time off during this season to ensure he is fresh for periods like this. Let’s see if the breaks have benefitted him, the early signs are certainly good.
