Arsenal look set to complete a deal with another Premier League club shortly.
Earlier today we told you that a deal for Ainsley Maitland-Niles to join Southampton was off, with several journalists suggesting Southampton will pursue other targets. As we mentioned though, there is other interest in the player and amongst those interested parties are West Brom. This has now been confirmed with David Ornstein of The Athletic suggesting a loan deal that will see Maitland-Niles join West Brom ‘should get done’.

Shkodran Mustafi is also set to join Schalke permanently imminently. Mustafi has just 5 months left on his contract and has slipped down the pecking order in recent weeks and months as Arsenal and Mikel Arteta look to the future in terms of building a squad that can seriously challenge again.
