3 – Tomas Rosicky
You would be forgiven for thinking Rosicky had already been released. As nice of a guy he is and as good as he can be, Rosicky is so unreliable. We need a midfielder than can be available for much more of the season than the Czech ever is.
I will always remember Rosicky for his quality and uniqueness. His turn of pace is quite remarkable for a man of his age. I hope he finds fitness again and plays weekly for another team (not in the Premier League). I expect though, that after another season riddled with injuries, the 35-year-old will be considering his future in football altogether. Perhaps if he can find fitness in the final stages of this season, he could do enough to find himself a new club next season.
I can only hope that Rosicky is replaced by Marco Reus, a player who has publicly admitted he idolises the Czech midfielder. Have a word Tomas? A departing gift?
