Arsene Wenger is keen to bolster his midfield in January and the latest news states that the Gunners have finally agreed a deal to sign Krystian Bielik from Legia Warsaw.

Arsenal have been tracking the 17-year-old, dubbed the ‘Polish Patrick Vieira’, for some-time and have seen a number of bids rejected by the Polish club in recent days.

However, Bielik broke his silence on the deal and stated that a deal has been agreed, with the two parties finalising an agreement. He said:

‘I’ve made a decision [to join Arsenal] and I’m not going to change it,’

‘I am looking forward to an agreement between the heads of the clubs. I realise that the negotiations may take some time.

‘I am, however, confident it will happen soon.’

Meanwhile, French striker Yaya Sanogo is closing in on a temporary exit from North London as Arsene Wenger reiterated his desire for the player to move on-loan to another Premier League side.

Hull City manager Steve Bruce is the latest to declare his interest in the young French forward, who’s only goal for the Gunners came in a Champions League victory against Borussia Dortmund.

Alan Pardew’s Crystal Palace are also stated to be interested, as well as his former side Newcastle United, Sunderland, Stoke City and others.

Ligue 1 side Bordeaux are also keen on the striker and reports in France declared an agreement is close- but it is believed this will be a last resort, if a Premier League loan isn’t forthcoming.

The latest reports from France suggest Crystal Palace have agreed a deal for Sanogo.
