Petr Cech’s move to Arsenal is nearing completion and if the latest reports are to be believed Chelsea won’t net much money from his departure. Despite a rumoured fee agreement of £10million or £11million, the latest reports will have you believe that Chelsea will net just £4million from Cech’s sale.
The latest figures show that Arsenal and Chelsea have agreed a fee of just £8million, and The Mirror report that Chelsea will give the player half of that fee as a gift. Not a bad leaving present ey?
It means that Chelsea will net just £4million from the players sale, but it appears the money doesn’t really matter to a club that is willing to give a player a £4million loyalty bonus. To be fair to Chelsea, it’s a nice gesture and Cech has performed so well for them that he probably deserves it.

David Ospina looks like he will be the goalkeeper to leave the club this summer after Woijech Szczesny apparently declared he was up for a fight with Cech for the number one spot – that can only be good news for the team. It is understood however that
