Bundesliga Club Slap £25m Price Tag On ‘The Answer To Arsenal’s Problems’

With Arsenal sat at second in the table and recently topping their Champions League group, it sounds a bit odd to still be discussing issues in the squad.

However, the recent 2-1 loss to Everton gave us a suggestion that there still isn’t enough reliability on the flanks, and one man fits the bill when it comes to finding the answer.

Julian Draxler has been the subject of Arsenal’s transfer talk for the last few years, but now it looks as if he’ll finally be moving away from Wolfsburg in January due to his behaviour.

The German winger has consistently stated he’s unhappy playing with the club after they failed to spend big money in the transfer window, and LeParisien have released an interesting update.

Wolfsburg took a firm stance on Draxler and ensured he would have to see out his contract before there was any chance of European clubs being able to fish around for a good deal.

The 23-year-old was once tipped as the hottest topic to play for the German national team, but it now seems his current side would accept as little as £25million to get rid of him.

It seems Wolfsburg are looking for a quick fix to turn their attention to form on the pitch rather than details off it, and Arsenal could well swoop in to get their hands on the versatile midfielder.

Draxler has had stints in all areas of the attacking midfield and he would be a handy addition to our wings, with Walcott and Oxlade-Chamberlain hard to rely on.

Following Alexis Sanchez’s move up the pitch into centre forward, it’s argued Arsenal don’t have anyone good enough at this stage to fill the void on the left hand of midfield.

It’s a tricky one for Wenger, but is he really going to pass up the opportunity to sign a player that is only going to get better over time?
