3 – Roberto Firmino (Centre Forward)
On his day he can be a lethal number nine capable of stealing a goal from absolutely nothing, and he’ll be licking his lips to start in this game.
That’s because the chance to face up to a centre back pairing that are pretty much brand new to one another means there is every chance of mistakes popping up.
Chambers and Holding are more than capable of playing in this game but we’ve only seen them in pre-season and there’s a major difference to Sunday afternoon.
Firmino, who has been adapted from a left-winger to a centre forward, is out to prove Klopp he deserves the number nine spot with Daniel Sturridge set to return from injury soon.
He’ll want a performance that he can take back to Anfield and he won’t get a better chance to score against the Gunners than this weekend.
Sharp and agile in and around the final third, the defence will have to ensure they sit tight to Firmino, who is more than capable of running in behind to catch Arsenal out.
What he lacks in aerial threat he more than makes up for with what he can do with his feet so expect him to run across the back line to get involved with the build-up play.
Klopp will more than likely tell him to target Holding, the guy is 20 years of age and is expected to perform on his competitive debut at the Emirates, in front of 60,000 people…
