Arsenal are readying a second bid in the next few days to bring Juventus defender, Daniele Rugani, to the Emirates this summer.
TMW have revealed today that Arsenal will have to be patient in their pursuit for Juventus defender Daniele Rugani. Arsenal were given hope last week in signing the Italy U21 international with claims in the Italian media Juventus would consider selling for the right price but first manger Massimiliano Allegri was to get a full overview of the youngster before the club make a decision on his future at the club.
Rugani has just returned to Turin after a loan spell with Empoli where he helped the Tuscan side consolidate their place in Serie A. Juventus recently bought Empoli’s share of the player for €4m and therefore have full control on the future of the highly rated 20 year old. Before they take the decision whether to sell Rugnai during the summer transfer window Allegri wants to see the defender live in action to weigh up if he will be part of his plans for next season. The Italian champions will therefore wait until the final days of the transfer window to see if the player has a future at the club or if they are to sell him.
Arsenal have offered the Italian champions Juventus €15m plus €3m in bonuses to sign Rugani during the summer transfer window which was turned down by the Serie A side. Despite rejecting the Premier League side’s first offer there are suggestions in Italy that they could still be prepared to sell the player.
