Arsenal Make Bids For These THREE Keepers

1. David Marshall

Arsenal are reportedly readying a bid for Cardiff’s David Marshall according to the Telegraph. The Scottish keeper was very impressive this season for a Cardiff side that was relegated. With their relegation surely Marshall will be looking to move clubs and stay in the Premier League – a status that he deserves. Tottenham are also heavily interested though as it looks like they will lose Hugo Lloris. Cardiff have apparently slapped a £15million asking price on the player, but the Telegraph say that this has not put off the Gunners as they look to strengthen their goalkeeping unit. Marshall turned 29 in May and so would provide competition for Szczesny for at least the next five years. He’d be a good investment, but at £15million the asking price is a bit steep. If Arsenal do sign Marshall I’d expect it to be for under £10million, especially considering Cardiff have been relegated and are not in a strong position to keep him.
