Wellington Silva – UD Almeria
Wellington Silva was not given a run in the team in UD Almeria’s win against Real Sociedad. The Brazilian was an unused substitute for the Rojiblancos.
Austin Lipman – Boreham Wood
Austin Lipman was once again called upon for “The Wood” against Basingstoke Town. Lipman started but failed to score yet again and was subbed off in the 74th minute for David Moli.
Jon Toral – Brentford
The Bees’ manager, Mark Warburton, is using Jon Toral sparingly. Although consistently on the bench, in the past week Toral only featured for 16 minutes – coming on in the 75th minute loss against Middlesborough.
Benik Afobe – MK Dons
Benik Afobe has been consistent throughout his time at MK Dons and that hasn’t changed. Although coming on in the 53rd minute and not scoring in MK’s loss against Bradford City, he managed to find the back of the net in their 6-1 rout against Crewe Alexandra. Benik came on in the 59th minute and scored in the 70th minute and assisted Ben Reeves’ goal in the 90th minute.
Ryo Miyaichi – FC Twente
Ryo was given his full debut for FC Twente in their convincing win over Heracles. Miyaichi featured on the left wing and was eventually substituted off in the 68th minute for the 74th minute goal-scorer, Youness Mokhtar.
Carl Jenkinson – West Ham United
Carl Jenkinson was again given a run in the team with a substitute appearance, coming on in the 61st minute for Guy Demel. He had a quiet game completing five passes, one tackle, two clearances, and one yellow card.
