Wellington Silva – UD Almeria
Wellington Silva featured for UD Almeria’s 1-0 loss to Rayo Vallecano and played the full 90 minutes. Silva had a few opportunities to score but both of his shots were unable to trouble the goalie – one being off target, the other being blocked. On top of that, the Brazilian created a scoring opportunity, and completed eight out of 12 take-ons.

Austin Lipman – Boreham Wood
Austin Lipman did not feature in Boreham Wood’s 4-0 loss to Concord Rangers in the FA Trophy.
Jon Toral – Brentford
Jon Toral has been having success playing on the wings for the west London club. This past week Toral started in Brentford’s 4-0 win over Wolverhampton. He assisted the opening goal, scored by Alan Judge, before getting subbed off in the 66th minute for Stuart Dallas.
Benik Afobe – MK Dons
He started in MK Dons’ 1-0 win over Port Vale and got subbed off after 68 minutes in the Dons’ 2-2 draw against Rochdale. However scored a hat-trick and played the whole of MK Dons’ 6-0 win against Colchester United.
Ryo Miyaichi – FC Twente
Ryo Miyaichi was unable to make the match day squad in FC Twente’s loss to Groningen.
Carl Jenkinson – West Ham United
Carl Jenkinson continued his fine year this weekend by starting in West Ham’s 1-0 win over Newcastle. The highlights of his performance were he created a scoring chance, completed one tackle, three interceptions, eight clearances, three headed clearances, and committed no fouls. It was just another great defensive display as usual from the England International.

Francis Coquelin – Charlton Athletic
Francis Coquelin played the full 90 minutes in Charlton’s 1-0 loss against Ipswich.
