Petr Cech made his Arsenal debut in a 3-1 win over Everton in the Barclays Asia Cup Trophy on Saturday, and Gunners fans were delighted with what they saw.
The 33 year old played his first game since his £10million move across London and completed all 90 minutes. Although largely untested due to Arsenal’s dominance – Cech made a couple of impressive saves, and one in particular which saw Arsenal fans explode with happiness.
Ross Barkley scored the only goal for Everton, but there was nothing Cech could do about that stunning strike from the young English midfielder.
Just his name on the starting line up was enough to excite some, with young fans suggesting this was the first time they’d ever seen a World Class goalkeeper at the club.

It was exciting to see Cech in an Arsenal shirt to be honest, and that save to deny Steven Naismith was spectacular – hopefully he has plenty more of them left in his locker.
