It’s not often that Arsenal fans manage to get two wins and some injury news to celebrate in the space of a week…
According to sources close to Sky Sports News, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain will be fit in time to face Chelsea in this years FA Cup final.
The Gunners forward, who’s come alive in the squad following the change of formation, was in doubt to play again after going down injured during the mid-week 2-0 win.
However, early scans have shown that Chamberlain suffered a minor tear in his hamstring and the injury is not as bad as the supporters and Wenger first feared.
It’s believed that the 23-year-old will now undergo a strict training programme in order to get fit for May 27th, with several reports suggesting he could return even sooner.
Arsenal have been a different force with the Englishman out on the right hand side of midfield, and it’s not too clear how they’ll get on with Bellerin in his place.
One thing is for sure, Chamberlain will miss this weekend’s trip to Stoke City, where Arsenal have to pick up another three points in order to challenge for the top four.
