Arsenal are on the verge of completing a deal to bring young goalkeeper, Joao Virginia, to the Emirates this summer.
According to reports in Portugal, a deal is already in place to bring the goalkeeper to the club, which will see him link up with a whole host of new youth signings.
At just 15 years old, the Benfica academy player has been a hot topic on the transfer list of several clubs in the Premier League, and especially Gunners rivals, Manchester United.
The Red Devils offered the goalkeeper a months trial earlier on in the year, and it was at that moment the Arsenal scouts began to sniff around the deal.
And now it seems as if Arsene Wenger has lured the Portuguese youth international to the Emirates, with the way young players are treated being the deciding factor.
Louis Van Gaal has already shown us his faith in youth players is far from confident, after refusing to work on the development of Danny Welbeck when the Dutch manager first arrived at the club.

Virginia will have seen the likes of Wojciech Szczesny and Jack Wilshere as headliners of the youth prospect story at Arsenal, and it’s exactly something he wants to be a part of.
