Arsenal and Chilean international striker, Alexis Sanchez, has been named the PFA Fan Player of the Month for October.
The award, powered by 90min (formerly known as FTBpro), comes following Sanchez’s impressive performances for Arsenal during October in which he scored three goals and one assist. Sanchez scored in Arsenal’s 2-2 draw with Hull at the start of the month, and provided the assist for Danny Welbeck’s stoppage time equalising goal. Sanchez followed this up with both goals the following week as Arsenal beat Sunderland 2-0. Sanchez has continued his good form into the start of the November scoring twice in Arsenal’s 3-0 victory over Burnley last weekend.
Arsenal are currently 4th in the Premier League with 17 points from 10 games and travel to Swansea this weekend before a home game with Manchester United and trip to West Bromwich Albion.
The PFA Fan Player of the Month Awards are designed to give a strong voice to the supporters who are the lifeblood of the game. The awards are endorsed by the players and supported by the clubs.
One lucky fan voter will be chosen to present Alexis Sanchez with the PFA Fan Player of the Month award in person later this month.
The vote for the November PFA Fan Player of the Month is now open across 90min web and mobile sites, go to www.90min.com to cast your vote.
