Arsenal managed to somehow take all three points from their away tie against Anderlecht on Wednesday night. It is becoming a habit to score late on, and without last minute goals counting, I’m not sure the Gunners would have had managed to accumulate any points this season.
Arsenal fans had a sense of relief after managing to win the game, but were rightly angered after a poor performance from Arsenal. The players looked like they didn’t want to win, and Arsene Wenger looked out of ideas. It is really hard to see how the Gunners managed to get anything from the game, let alone all three points. I actually feel a little sorry for the Belgian side.
Here’s the best tweets from Wednesday evening.
On a serious note we look shorn of confidence or conviction in anything we are doing. #Arsenal

Arsenal fluked a result this time round, but it was a one off and next time we will get punished. Wenger is a brainless moron.

Arsenal players only play well when they're losing. It's a disgraceful mentality instilled by an arrogant manager.

Just look like 11 players thrown onto the field. No ideas, no initiative, no shape. Absolutely diabolical once again from Arsenal.
