It was a gloomy day at London Colney as Arsenal prepared for a game that could tighten the pressure on Arsene Wenger’s reign at the club.
With a trip to a far from confident Liverpool side on Saturday afternoon, the Gunners have the chance to put a firm foot into the race for a top four position.
It wasn’t all about training though as the Under 23’s side took on North London rivals Spurs which included a number of first team members.
Defensive duo Carl Jenkinson and Mathieu Debuchy have resorted to regular places in the academy team, whilst there was a return for Yaya Sanogo up front.
