Arsenal were in buoyant mood on Saturday evening and they took Chelsea to the cleaners in a scintillating first half display that put the game out of reach for the visitors.
Alexis Sanchez opened the scoring after showing great individual desire and skill to hunt down Gary Cahill before lifting a neat finish over Thibaut Courtois and into the corner. Theo Walcott then put the final touch on a stunning team move for the second goal and after a great individual run, Mesut Ozil put the game beyond doubt with a volley in the 40th minute.
