The Gunners boss is facing the biggest backlash in support from fans and pundits alike, with patience finally running out to bring the Premier League to the Emirates.

And according to a report in The Sun today, the Arsenal board have issued an ultimatum on the 66-year-old that should bring success back to the pitch.

The likes of Toni Kroos, Gonzalo Higuain and Zlatan Ibrahimovic are all names that have been linked with a move to North London in recent years, and the board finally want Wenger to deliver.

This summer will see the Gunners become incredibly busy within the transfer market with as many as seven or eight players on the verge of waving goodbye to the club.

We are already aware of the situatio regarding Mathieu Flamini, Mikel Arteta and Thomas Rosicky who are all expected to continue as coaches within the club.

However, recent form has shed question on whether Theo Walcott and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain are up to the challenge of playing for a top level side like Arsenal.

Recent reports have also suggested that Mesut Ozil is unhappy with his situation at the club, and he could be tempted to walk if something doesn’t change in personnel.

Whether that be seeing Wenger go or bringing in some world class support to play alongside, Arsenal can’t afford to lose the man that has ran their season so far.

That could all change if their are one or two additions in the side that have serious ability, and the Euro’s this summer could prove to be a huge chance to scout some major players.

What Arsenal have to spend is often rumoured to be in the region of £150million, a cash reserve that is currently bigger than any other club in the world.

This has to be seen as good news for the supporters though, because it shows something is being done to ensure we can compete on the biggest stages in club football.

However, you also have to look at this current squad on paper and question how they failed to relish a genuine title challenge, having fallen short spectacularly yet again.
