3 – Jadon Sancho
According to The Express, Arsenal could be in the market to sign Jordan Sancho from Manchester City.
An Etihad source told The Sun: “The club is worried Arsenal are frontrunners for Jadon as he has a soft spot for them.
“His family think he might get a quicker path to first-team action at either Arsenal or Spurs.
Apparently Manchester City have offered Sancho a 3 year deal worth £30,000 per week, but Arsenal have said they would include him in their first team squad and perhaps offer the player a longer term deal.
If Arsenal do manage to get Sancho to sign then they will have to pay just a few million in compensation to Manchester City. Considering the market for young English players at the moment, if Sancho does prove to be a success, then he could be a ridiculous bargain at a fee of nearly nothing.
