4. GIROUD RED CARD SUSPENSION
In a moment of madness Olivier Giroud saw red in the “Boxing Day” match against QPR. After being tackled to the ground by Nedum Onuoha, Giroud jumped up, rounded on him and landed Onuoha a head butt. In return Giroud was issued a red card and subsequently served the three-game suspension. It couldn’t have come at a worse time for Arsenal; we were knee-deep in squad injuries at the time.
