5. Ivan Rakitic
The last target is a creative midfielder at Sevilla. Ivan Rakitic has had another stellar season in La Liga. The Croatian can play in any midfield position with 25 appearances in the attacking role, 10 apps in the central role and he even has 6 apps in the defensive midfield position. Rakitic scored an impressive 12 goals and has 10 assists, which is an outstanding return for a midfielder. Sure Arsenal have the most depth in the midfield positions but a player like Rakitic, who is flexible in every area of the midfield positions could add a lot of goals to the team. A double pivot of Ramsey and Rakitic could produce a total of at least 25 goals. Rakitic is an exceptional passer of the ball, set piece taker and long ball player. Though, one reason to not play him in the defensive role would be his poor tackling ability but it wouldn’t be a long shot to play a goal scoring midfielder on the wings. His release is €40 million but Sevilla would consider a bid of €25 million.
