After two games of the season, Arsenal and Emery were already being written off by some. Four games later, the Gunners have three Premier League wins on the bounce and have made a winning start in the Europa League.

Whilst Emery didn’t give youth as much of a chance as many thought, some Arsenal regulars used this game to rack up confidence and impressed the manager and fans in the process.

With just one goal to his name this season before this game, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was given the chance to impress through the middle. He did just that, netting a brace before being replaced in the second half – but still managing a score of 173. On the Index, Aubameyang has dropped recently to the £5 mark, but if he can rediscover his stunning goalscoring form you could expect a rise back up towards £6, especially if his killer instinct leads to more game-winning goals.

Vorskla’s late goals mean that Arsenal are yet to earn a clean sheet this season, but one defender who has impressed is Sokratis. The Greek defender also looks a bargain on Football Index currently – seemingly the clubs first choice central defender, he is capable of scoring goals and managed to rack up 137 Match Day points against Vorskla, that without a goal or clean sheet bonus.

Another defender with goal scoring potential Arsenal have is Nacho Monreal, who certainly looks to have nailed down a starting spot and Emery seems a fan. At £1.68, Nacho is cheap compared to some other high scoring defenders in the Premier League.

Whilst he only played for 30 minutes, Mesut Ozil has started to show signs of goalscoring form with two goals in his last two games – Arsenal fans will hope that can continue and the German can start to justify his huge contract. He scored an impressive 112 on the Index despite playing so few minutes, that could interest traders as the German is still relatively cheap at £3.19.

Arsenal have four home games in their next six in all competitions and only have to leave London once (Qarabag – away) – this gives these players a chance to rack up some decent Match Day scores and see a rise in the price over the coming weeks.
