2. Loic Remy
I am a big fan of Loic Remy’s and although he may not have the same quality as him, he certainly possesses similar characteristics to the great Thierry Henry. The French striker is very quick and can scare defenders to death when he is running at them at full speed. He is a very calm but lethal finisher when he is in front of goal, something Arsenal don’t really have at the club other than Theo Walcott. The pacey striker is keen on a move to the emirates as he is looking to escape from his current club QPR.
Loic Remy has a very impressive goal record of 14 goals in 24 premier league appearances and to add a proven goal scorer at Champions league level would be a big boost for us next season as we look to push on from our FA cup success. QPR will be looking for around £7-£10 million for the Frenchman, which is certainly affordable. He would provide great back up for Giroud and could definitely push for a starting place; it will be very interesting to see how the two get on at the 2014 world cup and to see if they form some sort of partnership. Which could give Arsene Wenger some food for thought of what formation he would play and would he try to fit both of them in the same starting eleven?
