2 – Almen Abdi (Winger)
This specialist left-winger has been a hot topic at the Hornets so far this season, proving to be a real handful across some of the Premier League’s top right-backs.
Although the 28-year-old has no goals or assists to his name so far this season, he’s loving his role out on the flanks and has been a major contributor to Watford’s rise from the Championship.
Abdi plays as a bit of an unconventional winger, and Hector Bellerin is going to have his work cut out to stop the Switzerland international advancing across the final third.
The winger prefers to cut inside and work a nice interplay with the rest of the midfield, before threading a ball through to the striking duo of Deeney and Ighalo.
Due to the nature of the strikers, Abdi has grown fond of running down the left flank and then having a go at goal no matter where his shot might line up.
You’ll also see the midfielder lining up over many of Watford’s set pieces, and with the ability to play in with either foot he will cause problems for the Gunners defensive setup.
He’s in the peak of his playing ability and loving his football at the moment, so don’t underestimate the silent assassin this weekend, because he will undoubtedly be troublesome.
