Liverpool’s new boy is the hottest topic surrounding the Merseyside club at the moment, following his match-winning goal against Bournemouth.
And as well as having those renowned aerial abilities, the Belgian powerhouse has plenty more tricks up his sleeve, as we’ve seen since arriving at his new club.
Playing as a solo striker, Benteke puts the work rate in and won’t stop until he gets his reward, something that defensive duo Mertesacker and Koscielny must be aware of.
At just 24 years old, the striker has picked up 43 goals in 90 appearances in the Premier League, and will want to prove to his doubters that he can succeed at a top class club.
He will cause problems on the counter as well as in the air, and Coquelin will have his work cut out to deal with the countless knock downs Benteke is capable of.
Since his arrival during this summers transfer window, Liverpool have completely changed their style of play, and now prefer to use the towering striker as an outlet player.
He’s a proven player in this division and with a goal already behind him, there’s confidence surrounding Benteke, and that could well spell danger for the Gunners back line.
