Arsenal make the short trip down the road to Wembley Stadium this weekend as they look to make it a record 12th FA Cup triumph.
But it will be Tim Sherwood’s Aston Villa side who will look to stop the Gunners popping the champagne too early, as they enter the final off the back of several impressive results in the competition.
We’ve taken a look at three of the key players wearing claret and blue at the weekend, and assess what the Arsenal fans can expect to avoid another FA Cup surprise.
1- Jack Grealish
- Age: 19
- Position: Centre Attacking Midfield
- Best Attribute: Determination
It seems like this young man is the new boy on the scene, and he’s relishing the opportunity to become a big part of this football club.
After making his debut for Villa earlier this season, the Irishman has made 14 appearances, which have become more frequent under the reign of Tim Sherwood, who has heaped praise on the 19-year-old.
In early 2015 the Villa boss stated he was learning a lot from his midfield partner, Joe Cole, who had acted like a role model since Grealish came into the side.
Grealish played a huge role in getting his side to the FA Cup final, after he was involved in both of the goals in the Wembley semi-final, which ultimately dumped out Liverpool in a shock 2-1 victory.
Quick and agile on the ball, Grealish will be a handful for Francis Coquelin to deal with on Saturday afternoon, and we could even see the youngster getting the better of Per Mertesacker, with Sherwood’s men keen to attack on the break.
Roy Hodgson recently protected the reputation of Grealish whilst picking his provisional squad for the friendly against Republic of Ireland in June, stating that he didn’t want to rush the teenager into anything.
Grealish is currently wanted by both England and the Republic of Ireland, as he is yet to declare which country he wants to represent.
