3. Danny Welbeck
Arsenal’s new £16m striker showed his class last weekend with an expert through ball to Mesut Ozil and his first goal in Arsenal colours, which is hopefully the first of many. A goal in the North London derby this weekend would be an excellent next stage in his development as an Arsenal player, as he aims to emulate the legendary Thierry Henry.
Welbeck will lead the line against the team we hate from down the road and will be really up for the fixture. He showed signs of creating a brilliant partnership with Ozil last weekend, which is the sort of duo that Arsenal need in their attack. Since making his debut for Arsenal, Welbeck has impressed- but he does need to improve his conversion rate.
That said, his goal last weekend will have sent his confidence sky high and with hopefully Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil assisting him for the left and the centre respectively, it’s a very good time to put the former-Manchester United man into your side.
