Team News & Predicted Line-Up vs. Lincoln: Arsenal To Go Strong Following Ozil Update

Out of the title race and the Champions League at the start of March means Arsene Wenger has only one starting XI he can go for this weekend.

The Frenchman is under enormous pressure from the fans, media and even some of his own players to make a statement on whether he’ll be manager next season.

But underneath all the Twitter debate and ‘Wenger Out’ banners lies one important point, and that’s getting results in the games that matter.

To do that this weekend, Wenger is likely to field a team that is full of strength, ensuring there are no hiccups on the pitch and we cruise into the semi-finals.

He’ll have been helped by the return of Mesut Ozil and Alex Iwobi in full training after both suffered illness this week that made them doubts for the weekend.

Despite the two I’ve mentioned above recovering, it looks as if Danny Welbeck will be short of making the squad as he is still suffering that sickness bug going around.

Mohamed Elneny was injured in Arsenal’s last FA Cup outing and that ankle isn’t likely to get back to full health for at least another week.

Whilst Ozil and Iwobi are back in training, Wenger will consider their physical ability knowing that Lincoln will be up for a fight in defence.

David Ospina will keep his position in goal but recent reports have suggested the Colombian is unhappy with being a ‘cup goalkeeper’ and will leave this summer.

Lucas Perez has been a regular in the FA Cup this season and is expected to start at centre forward as he looks to improve on his impressive goalscoring tally.

Predicted Line-Up: Ospina, Bellerin, Mustafi, Holding, Gibbs, Coquelin, Ramsey, Walcott, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Lucas, Giroud
