Report: Max Allegri Reveals He’ll Be Taking Over From Arsene Wenger

It’s the kind of news that a good majority of the supporters have been waiting for, but is this the moment Arsenal’s next manager was confirmed?

That’s because according to an exclusive report from CalcioMercato, Max Allergri has been telling his friends that he will manage Arsenal next season.

The report goes on to suggest that the Juventus boss was determined to win as much as he could with the Serie A champions and then switch to North London in the summer.

It seems the 49-year-old was out having dinner with friends when he let go of this huge update, with one of his guests immediately blabbing to the press.

As well as the frustration surrounding the relationship with Leonardo Bonucci, a figurehead at the Italian side who is doing all he can to unsettle Allegri’s position.

But as exciting as it is to get an update on a realistic candidate who could definitely be in charge next season, we also have to take consideration into the source.

CalcioMercato are the same media outlet that revealed yet another ‘exclusive’ story suggesting Lucas Perez was ready to quit the Gunners at the end of the season.

The interview with Lucas’ agent stated that the striker was done with being second best, however later that day his agent was quick to deny any of the comments made.

These days it’s more of a ‘take what you can get’ and if rumours like this are on the surface, there has to be some sort of backbone to the story at the very least.

Allegri looks to be the most popular choice of Arsenal fans and the most realistic with his future at Juventus up in the air.

Arsenal wouldn’t struggle to convince him to join the Premier League elite management either, with our rival clubs all settled with their current boss (apart from Liverpool maybe).
