Picture Special: Lacazette Scores On His Debut As Arsenal See Off Sydney FC

Well it wasn’t the most exciting opening game to a pre-season tour, but there was plenty to talk about as Arsenal beat Sydney FC 2-0.

A sellout 80,000-seater stadium was packed full of Gunners supporters, all waiting to see our new club record signing, Alexandre Lacazette, take to the field for the first time.

And the £52m man managed to make it a dream debut by tapping home the second goal of the game to confirm a comfortable victory for Arsene Wenger’s men.

Although Lacazette stole the show, Sead Kolasinac also featured on his Arsenal debut which posed many questions as to whether he’s a centre-back or LWB.
