The Arsenal players were given a short break in their preparations for Thursday night’s Europa League game as they posed for the official squad photo.
Thirty members completed Arsene Wenger’s fist-team squad for the upcoming campaign, including a few new young faces following the departure of several players.
Reiss Nelson was one of four members of the academy to recently get promoted to the first team, a decision that the boss made after an impressive pre-season showing.
You’ll also notice Mathieu Debuchy in the above picture, a player that has been on the departure list for some time now, as well as the newly promoted Matt Macey.
Santi Cazorla was missing from the photo as he continues to recover from a long-term injury that should see him return in January, whilst Calum Chambers and Jack Wilshere were happy to be back in Arsenal colours.
