Julian Draxler – the man that’s been linked with Arsenal more times than I’ve had hot dinners, could finally be making his way to the Emirates.

That’s according to the latest comments made by his representatives, who have confirmed the German ace is weighing up his choices between PSG and Arsenal.

A couple of days ago it seemed everything was completed regarding Draxler’s future, and Gunners fans prepared themselves to see him sign for the Ligue 1 champions.

But in a dramatic turn of events, the 23-year-old will now make a final decision within the week as to where he’ll be playing for football for the forseeable future.

Talking to Le Parisien, a member of Draxler’s entourage has stated that he’s definitely played his final game for Wolfsburg and his final destination now rests in London or Paris.

Nothing is done. Julian is hesitating between PSG and Arsenal. For the moment, he is thinking.

A decision will be made in the coming days. One thing is for certain, he has played his last match for Wolfsburg.

Whilst there is no question over the German internationals talent, many football fans have been struck by his attitude when featuring at top level clubs.

This is now the second time he’s forced his way out of a side, and that won’t sit well with Wenger who believes respect off the pitch is just as important as what he can do with a ball on the pitch.

Many can argue that Draxler’s position is one of those that doesn’t need covering in the current Arsenal squad, with Welbeck, Iwobi, Lucas, The Ox and Reine-Adelaide all able to cover the left hand side of midfield.

However, with a bargain price tag of just £25million being reported and the ability to have Draxler at such a young age, Wenger could be a fool to pass up the opportunity.

What adds even more weight to his cause is being able to play him in any three of the attacking midfield positions, adding another hint of quality to mount a hunt for silverware.
